Having purchased about 4 pairs of cheaper walking boots over the last 5 years, I can say that by far, these are the most comfortable! I have awkward feet and have a bit of arthritis in my right foot, so it’s literally a pain to find comfortable shoes, let alone boots.I have inserted a small gel heel wedge to raise my foot up slightly so now the fit is perfect.The leather is very soft and the outer soles are a very grippy vibram, almost trainer like in the feel when walking. They don’t feel particularly heavy at all.The only thing is that the laces are quite short when you do them up with a surgeons knot, but it’s a small niggle.Haven’t tested the waterproofness yet but have bought dubbin.Yes they are expensive but 100% worth it! Hope they last!

Walking necessary

Really happy with these boots. Didn’t have to ‘break them in’, they were comfortable from very first wear. Super sturdy and a true-to-size fit with good ankle support and zero ankle-bone rub (which I’ve had with other hiking boots). Also really happy with how waterproof they are - it’s been really wet and muddy here and I’ve had no trouble with leaks. I’d definitely recommend them.Also super speedy delivery.
