The two USB C female to USB A male adapters seem solidly made. The USB A plug makes a good contact when inserted into a socket and holds stably. Similarly a USB C cable plug makes a satisfying click when inserted into the adapter socket.This particular adapter arrangement is useful as modern devices are often equipped with USB C cables while, in our case anyway, our plug sockets, many of my older power adapters and my power extension cables have USB A charging sockets. For these cases these small unobtrusive adapters are an economic (and environmentally friendly) way of adapting to the new world, a far neater solution in my view than other alternatives used for the same purpose. I am thinking here of cabled adapters. These small adapters add just a couple of centimetres to the length of an existing cable. This makes them great when travelling, especially as the aluminium casing makes them very light in weight.These particular adapters allow data transfer of 5 Gbps which is USB 3.0 level. This is decent but not the best available as some competitors will allow 10 Gbps (USB 3.1). These have a decent charging limit of 5V / 3A. I tried to charge my iPad Pro 11 inch through one of these and it worked satisfactorily.At the current price of £5.99 for 2, these are not the best priced equivalent adapters on the Amazon site, but there is little in it and these are well made and of decent, if not the best, specification. Overall I think that a fair rating is 4 stars.

They work as expected. Not a very exciting review, but the adapters do a good job with no problems.
