I was very happy with this handrail. My wife and I are getting older, and even though we only have a couple of steps in the front of our house, we wanted this handrail for safety reasons.It takes a little bit of assembly, but putting it together was easy. The handrail is very sturdy and it’s made of quality wrought iron. The only challenging part for me was drilling into the cement steps of our house. Once I had a hammer drill in my possession, and the correct bit, everything went well. My only criticism is that I did not care for the anchor bolts that were included. After a failed attempt was one of the anchor bolts that came with the rail, I opted to use bolts from another company, and that worked really well. I would recommend that you borrow or purchase a hammer drill, as opposed to using a regular hand drill that you might already have. I tried both types of drills, and the hammer drill made it 10 times easier to drill into the concrete.

I like the rugged top hand rail. The fit and finish is very good. I wish that it came with plastic or rubber spacers for the top rail. After installing, it was kind of noisy because the top rail could move side to side about 3/8". I cut some rubber tubing @ 3/16 wide and put over the bolt on each side of the top rail to remove the excess lateral movement. This worked great. Make sure you measure first because it is a bit high. I am very happy with it.

Das Blech der Befestigungsfüsse ist im Gegensatz zum Geländer und den Zwischenstreben zu dünn. Dadurch wirkt die ganze Konstruktion bei seitlichem Andruck zu instabil und wackelig und wird auch durch ständige Feuchtigkeit sehr schnell rosten und so seine Stabilität verlieren. Bei seitlichem Druck wölbt sich das dünne Blech jetzt schon sichtbar.

Ich gebe die voll Punktzahl, weil von der Lieferung, über die solide Verpackung, die Qualität bis hin zum Aufbau und dem Preis alles stimmt. Wer heutzutage einen entsprechenden Handwerker findet, der wird über dessen Preise jubeln. Mit etwas Geschick, klappt die Montage in Eigenregie...

We are very happy with this railing. It took us a while to install it as the steps are old concrete and really hard to drill into. I checked out renting a Hammer drill and it would be eight dollars more to rent one then we paid for the railing so we just used our own drill and took our time letting the drill do the work. We went through two carbine tips, which was fine. My helper used the wet vac close to me drilling to suck up all the dust and it worked fine. This railing when done is very strong, looks nice and now feels safe having it there. This came with the best packing I've ever seen, so if your thinking of getting one I will tell you to buy it from this company, Thanks for a great product with fast shipping.
