Description:
TJA1050 is the interface between the Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol controller and the physical bus. The TJA1050 can provide different transmission powers for the bus and different reception powers for the CAN controller.
CANH and Canl work ideally together to reduce electromagnetic radiation.
When there is no electrical node, the performance has improved.
TJA1050 has two operating modes: high speed mode, silent mode.
The TJA1050 features a current limiting circuit that protects the transmitter output stage so that accidental short circuits caused by positive or negative supply voltages will not damage the TJA1050.
The TJA1050 also features a temperature protection circuit that will shut down the transmitter if the temperature at the connection point to the transmitter exceeds approximately 165°C.
