I recently purchased these replacement spool pins for my old vintage Singer sewing machine, and they are fantastic! My sewing machine was made in 1966 and is solid metal. I'm not sure what happened to the old spool, but I've had some difficulty finding a replacement for it.I ordered a few different spools, but none of them fit my machine. The problem is that many sellers are using the same generic photos of a plastic spool in their listing, but the spools you receive don't always match what is shown, and you end up getting something that doesn't fit.The hole in my machine is quite small, and many of the spools I've ordered that show a narrow end have been quite wide and haven't fit. I decided to give these spools a try, and I'm so happy I did. For once, they match exactly what was shown and fit my machine perfectly. Even though they are plastic, the quality is excellent, and they feel quite tough and resilient.My only negative is that the listing states this is for a quantity of 3, and I received 2, but this was a simple mistake, and the seller went out of their way to rectify this immediately. They are a little expensive in my opinion as they are essentially just small pieces of plastic, but they do the job, and they do it well.
