I've tried a lot of different brands and models but this is the series I keep coming back to. The weight and size is perfect for my relatively small hands and I love the range.

I remember being at school many years ago and having this exact same Blue 0.7mm pencil that served me well until someone pinched it from my pencil case whilst I was on a break. Gutted! Fast Forward many years later and i discover that the exact same pencil is still being made and not only that it comes in other sizes too (who knew!). The ones provided in this set are 0.3mm (Brown) so very very fine and perfect for small detail sketching or annotations, whilst the 0.9mm (Yellow) is bolder, thicker and perfect for making something stand out. The two mid range (0.5mm Black and 0,7mm Blue) are both very much alike, but the 0,7mm seems to flow better. THe two smaller than that tend to scratch a little on the paper.All really good high quality and should last years of use - Refils for the leads and new eraser tips are readily available. Very happy with this purchase and use one or more of them virtually every day.

If you're after a mechanical pencil set of lead sizes 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, on a budget, than just grab it. I was after a complete set and came across this while searching. Pulled the trigger and have been stoked with it ever since. Yes, it may not be the higher end because the casing is plastic and feels lighter in the hand, but the flow of lead click ratio protrusion is superb. As with any mechanical pencil, 0.3mm leads are always prone to breakage from large angle use and high pressure exertion from hand. But I've had no problem with this one just by use using it at a steeper angle. Excellent for drawing fine lines for art and drafting in architectural designs.
