Suitable for bar work

These glasses are far sturdier that those that are usually available from other commercial source and therefore it bodes well for their durability in the way they get treated in general use.

We bought these glasses a little under 2 months ago, and already 4 have broken. 3 when washing them up, and 1 when a knife slipped of a plate and caught the glass as it fell. The glass literally exploded into tiny pieces. The first glass which broke it was the stem, which was not guaranteed, the second was the rim and glass itself, and the company replaced it quickly and without query. The 3rd was the exploding glass, and as it included the stem as well, we didn’t claim. The 4th was the rim and glass only, but the company argued strongly that their guarantee only covered initial postage. Eventually they agreed to replace the glass, but said there will be no more replacements.So, the glasses are nice enough, but very weak. If you are thinking of buying them because the description claims them to be strong, or because of the guarantee, these are not the right glasses for you. If you don’t mind them being weak and easily broken, then the glasses are pleasant and good for portion control.

Not what I expected they look a lot more elegant in the picture on receiving them they are very sturdy looking more like pub glasses not very attractive.
