La rilegatura originale, realizzata nel 1922 per il poema scritto da Kipling per celebrare il giubileo di diamante della regina Vittoria, era impreziosita da turchesi, acquemarine e rubini.

The journal itself is pretty and nice but it got delivered to me damaged. The corner of the book is visibly damaged like it got cut or something. Also the size of their midi is quite small so for people who are planning to order in the future, take note of that!I wish this came undamaged so I don’t have to go through the process of getting this replaced and sending the old one out but oh well.Hoping my review can help the seller know that this happened and that no other journals gets damaged like this.

Das Vorgängermodell dieses Buches habe ich ewig mit mir herumgeschleppt, der Einband sieht immer noch wie neu aus. Die Heftung ist solide, da löst sich nichts. Das Papier ist dick genug, dass auch beim Schreiben mit Füller nichts durchdrückt. Die Ausstattung (Lesebändchen, Innentasche, Gummiband) ist für mich genauso so perfekt, ebenso wie das Format: passt bequem in meine Handtasche, ist zum Schreiben nicht zu fitzelig klein. Da war beim Neukauf klar, dass es dieselbe Ausführung (nur mit anderem Einband) wieder sein würde.
