Absolutely love PanPastels. These are highly pigmented, and most of them are light fast. This Earth tone set is perfect for any landscape, botanical, and nature artist. They come conveniently packaged in little flat containers stacked up on top of each other with lids.The set came with extra sponge applicators that slide onto the spatula and can be used for fine detail, as well as medium size individual sponge applicators perfect for bigger areas. These sponge applicators are specifically designed to pick up and absorb the pan pastel pigments which are rubbed onto the drawing paper. The applicators leave a rich pigmented layer on a drawing paper.Different colors can be mixed together, or simply layered on top of each other with the sponge applicators, which makes the blending process super easy. The results are blended seamless colors.PanPastels can be mixed together with pastel pencils and color pencils as well.

São fantásticos: cores vibrantes, fáceis de aplicar. A única desvantagem é o preço salgado,mas compensa porque parecem durar bastante.

I am a polymer clay artist. I've heard people rave about these pastels and I've seen what people have done with them regarding polymer clay. However, they are quite expensive so I hesitated for a long time. I just finally got fed up with having to shave low quality stick pastels into a power and inferior pigments and the mess and possible color shift after baking.Long story short- I bought this set as a test, it looks like it had some nice earthy browns and greens and figured it would be a safe color palette.Oh boy am I in trouble. These apply like butter. They are like nothing I've ever used and can be applied with your finger, or the included applicators. So far- I've not noticed any color shifting after baking. The pigment is saturated and it seems to be a very high quality product. While the price is quite high, I feel this is one of those products, depending on how you use it, less it more and they should last a very long time. Keeping in mind my use is on polymer clay- very different from actually drawing or painting with them.I can't wait to add to my collection. Excellent product!I highly recommend this product. It's surprisingly high quality. Definite must have for all artists.
