Used it three times and the on button stopped working. Disappointed with the quality

Doesn’t seem to connect to nanlite app as some product reviews suggest, battery prediction isn’t anywhere near accurate, inbuilt modes are a bit naff

Nice little light, plenty bright enough for a fill light etc, but the battery just simply doesn't charge any more after less than 2 years. Disappointed.

Lots of functions. Not so expensive. Ok battery life. Can recommend it

I've been using my LitoLite 5C for a few days now, and I really like it. For $75 you get a surprisingly powerful RGBWW light with some really useful effects. It's most useful for me as a practical light in frame (putting in a lampshade or using it as a downlight for cabinets), but it has enough power to really sell some lighting gags, like cop car or firelight. The firelight effect is actually my favorite thing about the LitoLite 5C - it's really easy to adjust the intensities you want to vary between, and there's enough output to bounce off a card and still use as a key on someone's face. There are a few things I hope get changed in the next model:- The light doesn't have a built-in diffuser, so you get those annoying LED shadows if you use it without the included silicone diffuser. That's not a big issue, but it would be nice to have a little snap on plastic diffuser to knock out those shadows.- The magnets aren't very strong. It might just be my model, but they couldn't hold the weight of the light.- It would be really nice to have a way to trigger effects. Most of them are fine to loop, but the lightning and explosion effects are much more useful when you can trigger them. Those are all minor issues, though. There's a lot I love about this light, and the price makes it pretty ridiculous. There is one elephant in the room, though...LitoLite 5C v. Aputure MCI own (and love) a few MCs, so I was curious to see how these compared. Head to head, the 5C has the edge in most areas: It's cheaper, significantly brighter, and the effects are more useful and much easier to tweak on the light itself. The main area Aputure has the 5C beat in is the Sidus Link app. That app makes it incredibly easy to control multiple lights, and program in multi-unit effects. (Also the MC magnets were way stronger)My takeaway: If you want a super useful light to keep in your kit for use as a practical, or work light, or eyelight, or for lighting gags, the 5C is a great choice. It's cheap and powerful with great color accuracy and effects. I know I'll be keeping this in my bag.Where this light falls short (at the moment) is use with multiple fixtures. Since there's no Bluetooth/app control, you have to physically change the settings on each light. This gets especially annoying when you tape numerous lights somewhere hard to reach, and have to change settings between shots. The Aputure MCs have made controlling multiple fixtures really easy, and I have no desire to go back.Having said that, I don't see why NanLite couldn't make the next generation of 5Cs compatible with the Sidus Link app. For me, that would take the 5C from being a great kit light to being an indispensable kit light.(I was provided with a 5C to review. All thoughts/opinions are my own)
