These are fairly good sealed tuners with indexing pins. The indexing pins come in two different lengths, which I didn't notice until I had them on, but luckily, I noticed before fully installing them. They are the kind that have screw in bushings like Fender tuners, and are relatively easy to install, only really requiring shallow drilling for the pins and sliding into the tuning holes for me. They have a fairly good ratio, but not quite as high as some other, more premium tuners I have seen. All of mine turn just fine, and offer good tuning stability. I have quite a few guitars, and these are among the better tuners that I have seen in stock guitar tuners. If you have some tuners that aren't so great, these might be a good upgrade, but mainly if you have a broken tuner or one that needs a remedial improvement. Still, these are solid budget tuners.

Overall these are good replacements for stock tuners on inline 6 string guitars. The play in the posts is no worse than what was previously on the instrument. The only things that I disliked is that the size of the tuning key post that sits in the headstock was slightly larger than the hole size of my guitar. I had to drill it out a bit to get them to fit as well as drill a small hole in the back of the headstock for the stabilization post on the tuner. (A piece of advice: place a piece of tape on the back of the headstock to give yourself a reference line to ensure that the tuners are being installed straight so that you do not have issues with the tuning keys hitting each other)

This review is for the Musiclily 6 inline guitar tuners, in chrome. One of my hobbies for the past fifteen years or so is building and repairing low end and mid-grade electric guitars, because high end guitars are out of my budget. I’ve seen a great many different brands of parts come across my workbench, and been exposed to all sorts of low end crap parts as well as low end parts that were surprisingly good.Make no mistake, these are not high end tuners. These are cheap tuners, and you can only expect so much out of such a thing. They feel like cheap tuners when you use them, but they feel like the GOOD cheap tuners, not the bad ones. There IS a difference, and it can be quite large. These function as expected and everything fits and screws together properly. They actually turn a little tight compared to most other cheap tuners I’ve used, but there is nothing wrong with that. You won’t mistake them for a $100 set of tuners, but they’ll do the job just fine, and quite a bit better than many others. Just make sure you get the relevant measurements for your guitar before you order.Overall these are quite nice and, assuming you don’t get a faulty set, are fine for everyday use. Most of what causes a guitar to fall out of tune isn’t really the tuners’ fault; it’s usually down to how the strings are wrapped at the tuners, and how they’re seated and lay at the bridge. Or sometimes just humidity and temperature changes messing with the body of your guitar, but still.

These are nice small tuning machines. The turn smoothly and are fairly light. Good for smaller headstocks or for saving a little weight.

Put this on my tele build. Works great and stays in tune.
