The unit came in bubble wrap and that was it. No instructions or anything. Not what I would have expected for approximately £17.The good thing about this is it is lightweight and easy to use.There are too many downsides.The cable for the eathing rod is too short so if you have an electric fence on top of a 6 feet high fence, you can't put the rod in the earth. I think the highest you can go is about 4 feet high.The reading is difficult to read in sunlight as stated by other reviewers.Due to a power pulse with my electric fence, this is duplicated with the lights on the tester so they light up and dim very quickly making it difficult to read. I already feel I need a digital tester for this very reason.
