Much to my surprise this works without big clicks in the signal chain. Nice case, switches feel flimsy so not sure how long it will last

Does what it says, I was using this as an A/B/Y switch for a dynamic mic and it worked great. Maybe not the clearest thing for new users who are less technical but with a small amount of training I had a producer happily using it no trouble.

Der Footswitch kommt ordentlich verpackt an. Das ist aber auch leider das einzig positive!.Die Qualität ist nicht besonders gut.Die switch- Schalter relativ klein und müssen auch sehr hart gedrückt werden, um den jeweiligen Output durchzuschalten.Ich kann es nicht wirklich empfehlen. Lieber sollte mehr Geld ausgegeben werden, und man bekommt was ordentliches.Gruß

I needed a switch so that I could use my mic for both singing and talking to the rest of the band via their IEMs, switching between the 2 functions. This box is passive and as such will cause bumps and bangs if used with a condenser mic/phantom power, but I found it usable with my SM58 dynamic mic. It perfectly fits the bill for what I wanted.

The switching box can be used to combine 2 XLR signals into one XLR signal or to switch between 2 XLR signals, making it a useful hifi or recording studio switch. It's passive and the sound quality is excellent - no noticeable degeneration. The unit itself is very small and light. It's made of metal and looks reasonable robust. The XLR ports are close fitting and don't rattle. The problem with this unit is the quality of the switches - they are pretty awful, cheap, rattly and vague feeling - they will not last long. Why they ruined an otherwise excellent device, I have no idea - I would gladly pay another £5 for better switches.
