I bought these for our ukulele band to use on the Christmas songs. One of our members bought some and I really liked them and what they added, so I looked up and found this Meinl set on Amazon. I really like Meinl stuff, I always try to buy the best I can afford, and so far, none of their stuff has let me down.I couldn't believe how loud they are! They are bigger than my friends set that he got in a local music shop, and the quality is brilliant. Plenty loud enough to stand their ground amongst a riotous bunch of ukulele players rocking Jingle Bells that's for sure!I see Meinl also make sleigh bells with even more bells on than this (I got the one with 7 bells) and I can't possibly imagine what situation would need so many bells? The sound must be deafening!Super happy with my purchase though. Given Christmas comes just once a year, I don't see me ever having to replace then. More expensive than the little sets you can get sure, but for me, worth every penny!
