I've Been playing the guitar since the eighties and I've really been at a plateau skill wise and have lost some of my chops since I haven't been practicing consistently. So I decided to rededicate myself to sharpening my axe skills and go back to some fundementals such as playing scales. additionally I love to learn new songs via YouTube as there are many talented guitar players that create note for note videos of popular songs. I have always preferred very flexible picks, usually nylon even on my electric but now I tend to prefer a stiffer pick for solos and playing riffs. I've found that these Delrin .73mm picks offer the best of both worlds being flexible enough for rhythm and stiff enough when you want a good attack on the strings during a solo. Also excellent for plucking harmonics. Recommended.

I've been playing acoustic guitar for over 55 years and I've tried a lot of picks. On this one this thickness is what I'd call the sweet spot. I find thin picks to give a harsh sound. Thick picks give a warm sound, but they're not right for all songs. This one is a bit more than medium, and it sounds good all-around. The Martin name, like Fender and Dunlop, can be trusted. I like the color; not easy to misplace. If feels good in the hand and is easy to use. You may not be able to afford a high-end Martin guitar, but you can afford Martin picks, and this one's excellent.

I am a first-time Delrin pick user.- Guitar playing experience: Not skilled at playing six-string guitar; primarily a bass player for some time (mostly playing drums)- Feel: Though listed as a medium pick (.73mm thickness), it feels stiffer compared to regular medium picks.- Grip: Stays securely on fingers while playing, providing good control.- Performance on bass: Works reasonably well but is not ideal for bass playing (thicker one would be preferred).- Performance on guitar: Excellent for guitar use, especially for learning chords and smooth picking.

I put this below Blue Chip but above a Prime Tone. Feels good in the hand and a pleasant contact with the strings.

Attack is given, just like a cat. Better for all steel strings…
