I purchased one of these Double Ball Joint Head's, to go with a Manfrotto Super Clamp, for mounting a video camera into our Rally Car.We have now done 3 events and the clamp has performed above expectations. Despite the harsh environment of a Stage Rally car, the clamp has not come loose, is very stable and we are getting some great video with no vibration. Mounted on the Roll Bar, due to the 'double joint, it was easy to position the camera for the required view.Also, the Event Scrutineers have been happy that the clamp is secure and safe to use on events, no problems there, so far (lots of issues with the 'suction types' and weaker clamps).So, all in, although higher priced, a very worthwhile purchase. Very happy and would recommend these to anyone.
