Packaging was properly sealed. However, two bits had a chip on one of the blades. Not expected from a product costing 6k. A few rust spots could also be seen. Not returning this set since rest other bits seem good. I think this set is over-priced. Yet to use it. I will rewrite a review after that. The original straight plunger 1/8" bit with 6 mm shank diameter that came along with the hand trimmer is really a great quality as compared to this set.

Original makita bits, comes in a sealed packet. Nice packaging, good quality bearings. However, in my set i noticed that one of the blades on the bits had a dent. Should still work, but not expected at this price point and brand.

...but E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E! On the other hand, they are worth it!
