This is a camera battery that can charge without being plugged into the wall. If you're hiking and need a charging solution that is lightweight, this might be the product for you. The charging mechanism takes up physical space within the battery, so it does not hold as much charge as a Canon-branded LP-E17. But being able to keep it charged from any phone charger might more than compensate, depending on your use case. This is an innovative, functional little product that fit and worked just fine in both my R8 and R50 cameras. It was easy to use--I tried it with multiple USB-C phone chargers--and at only $23 it's a great value for the money.

Spare battery for Canon camera. Wire plugs into the battery itself. Works fine.

Fit very well in my Canon T6i. I like that I no longer need to carry a bulky battery charger, but just a simple USB-C cable instead. The charging light indicate when your light is charging and is fully charged. Nothing fancy but works well.Very reasonable price when comparing to a branded replacement battery.No complaint.
