Simple but effective way to visually check on your water quality. The idea is simple, dip the testing strip in water for 2 seconds, gently tap it to remove excess water and place on a horizontal surface to stop the chemicals running into each other.After 30 seconds the results are ready to be read off the colour chart on the bag.There are 16 tests from water hardness, to lead, to pH to Nitrates etc. Quick and easy, puts your mind at rest that your drinking water quality is good with no nasties in such as lead.4 stars.

As you have to make a subjective comparison against a colour chart there is some room for error in interpretation so I would say these will give you a good idea of the components of interest between the two closest colour matches. However this is the same limitation of pretty much any similar test strip. The strips do cover a wide range of components some being of far more use than others. If you are an fish keeper there are several components of interest (nitrite, nitrate, pH) However as is normal with these simple test sticks there is no ammonia value unfortunately. I worked in a laboratory for many years and my feeling is that if you use these sticks recognising their limitations they are a whole lot better than nothing for checking water quality. You get a lot of them for your money and they are very quick and simple to use. This swung me from 4 stars to 5.
