.... you build a PC. Well, maybe you won't, but it's likely that you will. I have built a lot of PCs over the years, and there's nothing more frustrating than a short fan cable, unless, of course, it's a lack of motherboard fan headers. With these, you'll have both problems alleviated. Manufacturers are getting better (some of them, at least) at putting some decent-length cables on their fans, but low to mid-grade motherboards still frequently have only one or two fan headers, so a supply of these is a must if you're building a PC or adding fans. They're cheap, they work, they're PWM, and they put a lot an end to a lot of frustration. Das Splitter Kabel wirkt Dank der Ummantelung recht stabil und sieht somit auch nicht so schlecht aus, wie die einfacheren glatten Kabel. Der Adapter ermöglicht das Anschließen von drei Lüftern an einen 3 oder 4 Pin Header. Beachten sollte man dabei aber, dass nur ein Anschluss des Splitters ebenfalls einen 4-Pin Port hat. Somit kann auch nur ein Lüfter vollständig über PWM gesteuert werden.Die anderen beiden Anschlüsse sind dann jeweils nur mit 3 Pins belegt. Einen 4 Pin Lüfter kann man aber natürlich dennoch anschließen, Sie können halt logischerweise nur nicht alle separat voneinander langsamer oder schneller geregelt werden.Praktisch ist der Adapter aber trotzdem, vor allem da man hier direkt zwei im Set erhält. Somit lassen sich problemlos schnell Lüfter nachrüsten, wenn einem mal die Anschlüsse am Mainboard ausgehen. Dank der Länge von 30 cm, kann man seine Lüfterkabel auch noch gleich etwas verlängern. Da das Kabel, wie gesagt, vollständig mit einem Sleeve ummantelt ist, sieht es auch im Gehäuse mit Glasfenster noch ganz ordentlich aus.
