I bought two Isle of Skye candles at Christmas and was extremely disappointed with the quality. Both candles had exactly the same problem. The wick effectively came loose and toppled over resulting in the glass jar being badly burnt. This happened on both just after a small amount of wax had been burnt.We normally get Essence of Harris candles (which have always been fantastic) but decided to try these as a change as they looked of similar quality but different scents. It is unlikely we would use Isle of Skye candles again based on these two items - which were not cheap.

we stayed on the Isle of Skye and this candle was in our room so had to have it at home.
