Killer CPU!! Perfect for my OEM 600 Intel chipset. Ran into compatibility problems with newer generations 13900KF and 14900K despite motherboard bios updates... so third time's the charm apparently. My research suggests that the 12th gen was Intel's last line of processors without major production issues. Benchmark cpu score clocked in at over 20% higher with the i9 12900KF (16 cores) vs the i7 12700KF (12 cores).

I previously had an i7-11th gen, and it worked reasonably well. But with new and demanding games like cyberpunk, I had some performance issues. I kept my gpu and just changed the cpu and ram, and the performance became amazing! If anyone is on the edge about buying an i9, I really recommend it.
