Seem two be very well made. Had no problem With any of the screws being crossed Threaded loose or Such things that you usually see On cheap neutrix knock offs.These are way better than a lot I have seen.I would recommend giving them a try

Not bad, but not Speakon either. Inside cable clamp is in two pieces and falls out when installing

These things work great with my selection of PA subs and speakers. They fit securely into all of my QSC, Crown, and Peavey amps. I really wish I had learned about these long ago. They would be perfect for subwoofers that you take in and out of a car.

Despite having a quite a lot of Pro Audio and home hifi gear over the years, I have managed to evade Speakon until now. But I just got a nice Gallien Kreuger amplifier and cabinet for my bass guitar and it is necessary to use Speakon connectors in order to achieve bi-wiring between 10 inch drivers and the horn.I compared these Speakon plugs from Howonder to some similar plugs I got from Amphenol a while ago. It seems in the rankings of connector quality and price that Neutrik are at the top, then Amphenol. The Amphenols are a mixture of hard black plastic and satin chromed metal.These plugs from Howonder are very nice. The body of the plug is some sort of high end black plastic. It is thick, strong and stiff with a very attractive satin/mat finish. The cable gland cover is a very pretty blue and is from the same high quality plastic. The release button is in what looks like nickel plated metal and is smart also. Internally there are screw connectors nestled deep in to individual pockets for safety against shorting.I test fitted the plugs into female sockets from the same manufacturer and the contact was positive and solid. One must slide the lock button sideways to release and allow the twist release.So in summary, these plugs from Howonder are excellent and can easily stand up against Amphenol and Neutrik. Very nice plugs!

What's not to like about these Howonder speakon connectors. They're very well designed and constructed and easy to assemble. The metal unlock-lever assures a long life and if you're like me and like to make your own speakon cables, you won't be disappointed.
