This little device could have been a game changer for a lot of folks but they missed the mark in a big way. There are 4 buttons on the device with some odd functionality choices. One is to lock the screen. That’s fine. One is to take a screenshot. A bit of an odd choice but could be useful now and then. The third turns off the the HDMI port on the back of the device. An utterly useless function. The last one says it is supposed to change lighting modes. I guess it changes the light on the RGB around the knob? Honestly I couldn’t see much of a change. The bigger issue is that you cannot change the functions of the buttons! The fictions are hard coded in the hardware. There is no software with this device either. Maybe if there was, there could be a way to change the functions.Unless you need a hub with little connectivity, this isn’t really something I would recommend anyone buy. I just happened to need a desktop knob for volume which is the reason I got it. Unfortunately the build quality of the knob is lacking. Super cheap feeling. Such a shame. This could have easily been a great product.
