The key fob was incomplete with an important component missing. Even when I took this from the old broken fob and installed it in the new one, it didn’t work. The original key fob works by having very tight tolerances for all the separate components and as a result, even though this looks the same, is just a cheap knock off that is all but impossible to get working.
