I bought this gadget to detect water leakage within the walls of my house. While the gadget works well, I am not too sure of the accuracy of its readings. Nevertheless, it serves well if you are interested in checking out for any water leakages without asking for true readings.

Worked really well for checking sheetrock after water damage and trying to dry it out. Showed where the water was at just like the professional who first evaluated the wall. As it dried the reading changed. Best price on one of these I could find and glad it was accurate for what I needed. I really wanted a plate style reader rather than poking into the sheetrock multiple times in multiple places.
