I had a different brand of AC/DC True RMS Clamp meter, and while it did okay with the voltage, it gave very inaccurate current readings on higher-voltage solar arrays. This Fluke meter works awesome. I should have just gone with Fluke, to begin with, and I would highly recommend this meter to anyone looking to test DC current and Voltage. It is smaller than others, lightweight, and simple to use. The best part is I now know what the true current of my solar arrays instead of some crazy inflated number from my other meter that more than tripled the current reading. Do yourself a favor and buy this one.

Buena pinza amperimétricaMateriales de buena calidad100 por ciento recomendable.Además de trabajar muy bien en voltajes de v.c.a. como en v.c.d.Excelente

Meter is small and easy to use. I’ve only used the DC ammeter function so far, and it’s worked well to diagnose weak solar cells without pulling connections apart. Exactly what I was hoping for.I agree with other users. I’ve had to Zero it more than with other meters. Also watch that you don’t inadvertently bump the Hold button. Size is good to work with all reasonable-sized cables. 4/0 was no problem at all. Definitely recommended.

The good: Very accurate metre, I'll give them that. Small and easy to operate with one hand. The not-so-good: at nearly $300 I'd have expected this to come with decent test leads. Very disappointed in the crappy hard leads from a metre of this calibre. Should be silicone clad. Not plastic. There is no case when most of their competitors do come with one. (Again.... Almost $300!)And come on, why is there no backlight on the display? Even my cheap $39 Chinese clamp metre has a backlit screen! We don't always get to work on stuff outside. Sometimes we're in a poorly lit crawlspace or the ambient light is otherwise obscured. Back light is a must on these things. Finally, no app support. Soooo even though it's (yes, again) a $300 metre, if I want to be able to use the fluke connect app, I have to get what? A $700 metre? Again, your Chinese competitors have Bluetooth support and you don't. Nice, fluke. 🙄It's a good quality metre but for this price, I'm sorry, but I expect a few more bells and whistles.
