First 50 Songs You Should Play on Vibraphone A Must-Have Collection of Well-Known Songs Arranged for Virbraphone!

I was looking for solos for my high school percussion students. This book was a disappointment. These solos are way to easy. These are very simple beginner level solos written for two mallets. The Amazon description does not say "beginner" or "2 mallets". The description on Amazon is very inadequate. Amazon needs a more accurate description for this book.

My daughter loved this. It's exactly what she wanted to practice her music.

This is a fine book for the beginner to the Vibraphone, and probably Marimba as well. A great selection of tunes, of which the majority are Jazz standards.Occasionally, to my ear, some of the harmonies in the lower notes are compromised by the need to live up to the title of the book. I wouldn't say they are wrong, but they could be improved.Overall though it does what it says on the tin.

This book, unlike so many, is what it says: a beginnger's book. A lot of nice standards. It would be better if it had the words of the songs though
