Un peu plus petit qu'un esbit, les petits paravent semblent fonctionnel...

Ich mag diese Art von Kocher sehr und besitze einen von Esbit ohne Windschutzflügel.Dieser Kocher von Fire Maple ist trotz der Flügel an den Seiten genau so leicht, genau so kompakt. Natürlich ist der Windschutz in der freien Natur nicht immer ausreichend. Ich habe mit einem Buch und der Essenspackung nachgeholfen - keine große Sache.Mein Setup: 450ml Tasse zum Wasser kochen. Der Kocher, Brennstoff und Streichhölzer (im Packsack) passen bequem aber ohne viel Geraschelle und Gewackele in die Tasse.Nachteil: Ohne Flügel passt Brennstoff direkt in den Kocher.Vorteil: Die Flügel stabilisieren den Kocher zusätzlich, die Auflage wird sicherer und das war der Grund warum ich diese Fire Maple Variante gekauft habe. Ich bin zufrieden!Bei milden bis warmen Temperaturen ist Trockenbrennstoff in Tablettenform mein ultraleicht Kochfavorit.

Credo sia una delle soluzioni più leggere in assoluto, escludendo quelle che prevedono di prelevare cose dall'ambiente circostante, che regolarmente mancano all'ora di pranzo.Grazie allo schermo laterale funziona bene anche col vento, e anche sotto la pioggia.L'alcool non fa un fuoco caldo, per cui in pochissimo tempo l'acqua è molto calda, ma a bollire fa fatica: ci vuole tanto tempo e tante pastiglie.Però se si parla di scaldare l'acqua per un pasto in busta, va benissimo.Rispetto all'Esbit originale pesa qualche decina di grammi in meno, non contiene le pastiglie quando è piegato, ma soprattutto ha lo schermo laterale, che secondo me è importantissimo.

This is extremely lightweight but sturdy once folded out. It's smaller than my Esbit stove and holds smaller pots well. I use a small meths burner in mine & the sides help shield the wind quite well. Being titanium it changes colour to shades of purple & blue colour when subjected to high heat, which is cool. You can't store fuel tablets inside but I don't see that as a problem. I got this on offer and also used a voucher so it was nice & cheap. Result!

Oggettino "simpatico" per gli amanti di Outdoor. Unito a del combustibile solido, permette di scaldare velocemente una tazza d'acqua, semplicemente, senza dovere ricorrere a fuochi a terra e strutture posticce, costruite per sostenere la tazza stessa. Occupa pochissimo spazio nello zaino ed è subito pronto all'uso. Certo ... è un "di più" visto che le sue possibilità di utilizzo sono molto limitate. Ed inoltre costa nettamente di più di quanto vale. Non posso certo dire ... indispensabile.

I used this in a 3 day backpacking trip and it worked great. The sides fold in so the solid fuel tabs need to be kept separate. This is light weight for having 4 sides, so it does add minimal weight for the 2 additional sides.
