I did the service job and everything worked good except the air cleaner was small thank goodness, the one I had worked great.

This tune up kit works well for the Kohler CV13S (13 horsepower) engine, used in the John Deere LT133 38" Riding Mower. The only drawback is the air filter is too tall for the plastic air filter cover. The air filter in this kit will still work, however you cannot thread on the plastic cover. Instead install the foam air filter membrane and make sure the engine plastic cowling-cover is also in place.The spark plug should be gapped to spec (generally. 040").The oil filter is better quality than I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised.The overall quality is not original equipment ("OE"), however for an older "workhorse" mower, this tune up kit is a VERY good value. It promotes proper fuel-air-spark-lube for the Kohler CV13S (and similar) engine. It will help a smaller 13 horsepower engine run quite well. It will also immediately save on fuel consumption. That has been my observation. This is the type of bundled kit that absolutely must be fully replaced each season. Bear in mind that while it does provide real value and immediate increased performance, this tune up kit is not Original Equipment quality. It remains a good value. Your old workhorse engine will thank you.

John Deere LT133. Oil filter fits fine. Air filter is good quality and fits but is too tall to fit under the factory filter shroud. That's OK, because the filter shroud is not a necessary piece for the engine to function properly so I just leave it off. Spark plug is good quality and correct plug for the CV13 engine. The fuel filter is the cheapest and lowest quality small engine filter I've ever encountered, so I pitched it and substituted a filter I had on hand. For the price, I'm happy with this tune-up kit and I'd buy it again.
