Modifier le look de l'original

i havent actually installed this cover just yet. i was really excited for it because my mini is gray and thought it would match well but im really attached to the red switch cover so i am feeling torn between the two. this cover is very nice, the colors arent as vibrant as the photo though. you can only see the checker pattern in certain lighting. if you have the checker pattern anywhere in your interior it is the same. so its like you get 2 designs, a dark gray and a light/dark gray checker pattern. it comes with a heavy duty sticky on the back. it came in a nice little box, packaged well. there were no instructions with it but you would just clan the switch really well, peel off the backing of the new cover, place it over the switch, align it, and press down to stick.

Things that you add to your car don't necessarily have to be functional. My Dad might've called something like this a "geegaw." No matter; the purpose of this little item is to make you smile when you start the car. If there's a practical reason it is because the lettering of the MINI Cooper start button gets worn over time. You really don't *see* the button unless you look, but still. For me, this covers the worn lettering and gives me a little smile of satisfaction when I look at it. The size matches the overall size of the button pretty accurately; it is larger than depicted by the dotted line in the website listing. The carbon fiber weave is pretty subtle in the (very substantial) package and in your hand, but it seems to pop in the car and in natural light. It looks quality.Couple of things: Because the size is so close to the button size, take care on installation to get it centered up properly. It would look bad off-center. This is important, because with the 3M adhesive pad, you're not moving it after it's attached. Second, the ignition button is backlit when you open the car door, so as to make it easier to find in the dark. This item blocks that backlight. I doubt that matters for 95% of MINI owners, as you find the button by feel more than by sight.All-in-all, very happy with the quality and appearance of the most recent addition to my MINI.

No me ha gustado el ajuste

Wir haben die Kohlefaser Start/Stop Deko in unserem MINI F60 eingesetzt. Der normale Start/Stop Knopf in rot tut zwar genauso seinen Dienst, aber diese Kohlefaser (echtes CF, kein Fake) macht schon was her. Eine superglatte Oberfläche gibt eine angenehme Haptik, von der Optik ganz zu schweigen.Selbst meine Frau ist begeistert und hatte an der kleinen optische Retusche Ihres Autos nichts zu beanstanden.Info: Das Rot ist um einige Töne dunkler, als auf dem Foto (blitzbedingt).

Ovviamente c'è il Biadesivo per attaccarlo sopra alla levetta di accensione, ma devo dire che fa un effetto Premium, installato su Mini F56 3 Porte di fine 2021, ho scelto il "Carbonio" per gusti personali 👊
