My son is tall, but not THAT tall. (5'10")This vest is good quality, warm, and cute, but unfortunately made my son look like a larvae (I considered sewing a little padded hand, on each side, at every segment, but decided against it.)If someone is skinny, and over six feet, it would be ideal.

An interesting garment. I have been scouring the internet for months for a replacement for my trusty gilet which after many years constant use is falling apart. I wanted:1) Warmth. Pembrokeshire has mild winters but I wanted it to serve as my main coat except on the bitterest days. I find if the trunk is warm the arms don't matter so much.2) I wanted it to have at least four pockets and I wanted the outside pockets slanted so that I didn't have to dislocate my wrists to put my hands in them.Not too much to ask you'd think but either the gilets were not warm or had too few pockets or had awful tab pockets.But this one is OK. It's very warm, has five pockets. The sizing is mental. I am normally Large for tshirts, sweatshirts, jackets, but advised by other reviewers I went to Medium and it fits perfectly.Fits perfectly but it is, as other reviewers have also mentioned, "boxy" and long. But who cares, it ticks all my other boxes.
