I originally bought one of the more expensive versions of a red light therapy set as it was on a discount. I didn't know what to expect as such, and was impressed to find it did indeed seem to improve the quality and feel of my skin. Your skin feels glowing and vibrant after 10 minutes of use a day. This expensive version then broke, and I had to return it. Looking for other red light therapy lights I saw this one was valued at a much lower price but had good reviews. I decided it was worth finding out if it worked the same as the more high valued ones.It's a great size. It's large and you can direct it over your face or an area about that size on your body. The lights are also very large and you can feel that when you use it, because they are so bright. They work much brighter here than in the more high valued brand I'd bought.I've also been experiencing tendonitis pain from my work, and nothing I'd been trying had seemed to help. So I decided to see if the red light therapy would help with that pain, as others here and elsewhere said it would. It does! In fact, after the first 10 minutes of use it was the first time my thumb had felt relief in weeks and I could move it more readily without as much stiffness. Every time I use it for pain management it works and gives me relief.Highly recommend this product for both skin and pain use. And buying a couple of these would cover about a portion of most people's backs and would therefore be much cheaper than the larger red box light versions available.

I purchased this lamp after trying to source a like-for-like replacement for my Philips Infraphil Infra-red heat lamp.I was attracted by the savings offered by the significantly lower wattage (around one third of the original) and by the targeted wavelengths of the unit.The unit was a perfect fit for the original housing and it was immediately clear that there was more actual Infra-red output than the original and less wasteful red light.Half the LEDs are 650nm which is just within the human optical range and the other half are 850nm which is true Infra-red and invisible to the human eye.I read some reviews where people think that half the LEDs are not working. They are! So, be careful of your eyes!I am very pleased with this replacement unit. It does the job and is saving me money to boot.
