Excellent strong spade good value

Nachdem einige Wurzeln entfernt werden mussten und einer von 2 Spaten (mit Holzstiel) beim Hebeln knackte, war dieser nun ein super Ersatz.Die Wurzeln konnten gut angestochen und über die vorhandenen Randsteine ausgehebelt werden... Das Ganze war trotzdem nicht die schönste Arbeit und die Astschere musste auch helfen, aber der Spaten ist deutlich besser als die Alternativen mit Holzstiel... Und dazu noch super günstig (ca 17 Euro). Ich würde ihn für mehr Geld immer noch empfehlen. Einzig negativ war der Versand aus England der ein paar Tage dauert, aber dafür kann der Spaten ja nichts...

Too many broken spades gardening. I needed a good back up one. Tried a cheap all steel unknown brand and it was awful- bent within a weeks work, the previous all steel I had was brilliant, from a company who are now fairly pricey so I wanted a cheaper option that was still half decent. A bit heavy and clunky- to be expected over a wooden handled spade, not the most pleasurable spade to use but it does the job & definitely feels like it will last after a few weeks of using it and it is a very low price. So pretty happy with the purchase

How is this spade this cheap and this good? I used it to shovel 850kg of 20mm gravel on the week I bought it and expected it to be broken by the time I finished. Instead, it’s basically unworn and I am now considering framing it for my future son to inherit, or at the least I’ll ask it to be used for my grave and left there for me in the afterlife. With the modern standard for useless quality online products, this a ridiculous object for this price, I am extremely sentimental about this already. It’s electric blue galvanised surfaces means it’s gone down a treat at parties as well.
