CARE - check the listing so you don’t have to deal with customer service (lightly used phrase in this case)CARE it is not compatible with the Latitude 5510 as advertised or at least not mine (&/or appears others) due to incompatibility re voltage.Check the very small print details.Customer service experience was shocking, patronising and took 3 visits to post office / couriers to get the return with threats to charge me for the process. Amazon stepped in.

The Dell Latitude 5510 requires 15.2v battery so the one on the listing here did not work for me. The part number you require is 3HWPP. If this 7.6v battery is battery is purchased and installed you will see a voltage mismatch error on laptop boot and the only option is to shut down the laptop. You cannnot overide or bypass this message via the bios similarly to what can be done with an AC adapter.Ive had to request a return for a refund
