Terminal space is too tight where the wire enters if using pin terminals however it is fine for the test setup I bought it for. If screwing your wires directly in then it should be fine

This is really nice when you don't know for sure what a machine is looking for. I have a bin of different cables with 9 or 25 pin ends, some null, some not. It seems nothing ever works and jumpers are needed / or not. This was great to have access without cutting and soldering.

I used this to make a RS232 DB9 to DB25 connector for PC Serial to CNC communications. This was great because I had to play around with the wiring configuration and move wires around. Use a small needle nose plier or forceps to get the wires in place, and a small screwdriver to get the terminals closed. I bought the DB9 cable separately and cut off one end, so I could attach this connector.You can find these cheaper on auction sites, but they will take a long time to get to the US. I ended up ordering from both places once I found I couldn't wait any longer.
