...nice for shirts. Living in an older home every inch is important. Did have to pop off the safety spring to use them on our older clothes poles in the closets, but they are a really nice hanger.

I chose these hangers to leave on my drying pole in my laundry room for items to hang dry on before I fold them and put them away. I get a little tired of having to play musical chairs with my hangers and wanted some dedicated to the laundry room, these seemed like a great solution.The clasp is just a coil of metal like a spring, with nothing inside the coil to stabilize it. This seems flimsy to me, and I would prefer if the clasp had more stability. The springs are flexible like a doorstop and awkward to get around a pole. However, I haven't had issues with them falling off of the pole through enduring the wind from a strong fan, or my sometimes careless whisking of garments from them.I do like how sturdy the hangers are overall. The metal doesn't flex easily, they quickly bounce back when squeezed or pulled, and these hangers seem resilient. These hangers don't have sharp edges or ends poking out that will catch on fabrics, and they're easy to get any garment in my household onto. These hangers have indentations to hold strapped items such as tank tops, camisole, and bras, and seem to hold the items well even with a strong fan blowing the clothes around.These hangers are excellent space savers too.
