This cable is perfect for using with a beltpack when you need to take the sound out the receiver and into a desk. The quality of the cable is decent for the price and the connectors fit snugly. A recommendation from me.

Verarbeitung ist Top. Das Kabel tut was es soll. Endlich kann ich meine "guten" Mikros auch ganz unkompliziert mal schnell am PC nutzen.

I was pleased to order this cable as I invariably either lose the shorter cables or get in a mess with the longer cables as more often than not the extra length gets in the way. I do tend to prefer cables at the appropriate lengths if possible.Having used coiled cables in the bad old days when cables seemed to be replaced every week (at least the coiled ones that came with cheap instruments), I tend to avoid them. This is an exception to the rule as it is not being used as an instrument cable (and it is nearly 2025!). On the web page, it is implied that this can be used on stage, which may be OK into an iPad/laptop but certainly not with any stress on either connector. This could be ideal for a desktop mike or similar. Storage should be easy with this as it is short, so it hopefully won't end up like a 70s telephone coil. The connectors look solid enough and of reasonable quality and the throughput seemed fine with no problems. The right angled 3.5mm jack is handy for certain scenarios and a good option. At £12.99 at the time of writing this review, it is more than I would like but handy as a back-up (If using on stage/recording, always have spare cables). It does boast gold plated connectors and tinned copper conductors, which is fairly standard in a pricier range. If I have to get the soldering iron out anytime soon, then I will be back on here updating this review.

I have hacked together this type of cable a few times, it is great to be able to get them pre-made. The list of stuff with 1/8" output that you can interface into a semi/pro level audio system is huge, including wireless mics, media players of all description, desktop miocrophones, all the way back to walkmans and portable CD players. Most TVs these days have a 1/8" output, and really anything with a Headphone output can work with this cable as well.It also goes the other way, for example sending an XLR output from a mixer or audio system into a PC using Realtek/AC97 type audio (which is almost all of them lol)
