Die Sensoren, die ich bekommen habe sind entgegen der Beschreibung die V1.2 und NICHT 2.0. Zudem ist der verbaute Chip ein NE555 und kein CMOS TLC555. Also: alte Version. Der eine den ich getestet habe funktioniert aber. Der NE555 läuft mit ~400kHz.

Der Sensor ist mit Spannungsregler aufgebaut, hat den TLC555 als Wandler. Somit ist er für 3,3V Systeme wie den ESP8266 und Arduino in 3,3V Ausführung gut geeignet. Bei mir soll er im HomeMatic Bewässerungssensor mit Asksinpp zum Einsatz kommen. Der erste Test war schon vielversprechend.

Zwei Module von 10 lieferten ausreißer-Werte, und mussten aussortiert werden.

Some of the other reviews are misleading about the unit's corrosion resistance. If you get moisture on the electronic components near the connectors, they WILL corrode and the unit will stop working.

This is a very good moisture sensor. The metal prints are coated so therefore are protected against corrosion and oxidising from electrolysis unlike the cheaper ones with copper exposed. This version can remain in the soil permanently and allows for frequent and quick measurements. It has very good quality chips on board and arrives in an anti-static bag with the quick connect cable. Overall I’m very happy with the quality.
