I recently purchased the Bosch Home and Garden Advanced Distance 50C digital laser measure, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. The ability to measure distances accurately up to 50 meters is incredibly useful for both indoor projects and outdoor tasks.One of the standout features is the color touchscreen display. It makes operation so intuitive, and the readability of the measurement results is fantastic—even in varying lighting conditions. No more squinting at tiny numbers!The MeasureOn App connectivity is a game changer. Being able to transfer measured data directly to the app via Bluetooth is super convenient. I love that I can add photos, draw floor plans, and make notes all in one place, which simplifies my project planning significantly.Additionally, I appreciate Bosch's commitment to sustainability. It’s reassuring to know that I’m using a product that incorporates eco-friendly features.The scope of delivery is also impressive. The included soft bag is great for storage and transport, and it came with three AAA batteries, so I was ready to use it right out of the box.Overall, I highly recommend the Bosch Advanced Distance 50C to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient laser measure. It’s a fantastic tool that makes measuring a breeze!

My last Bosch professional 80 has been going for over 15 years so I know these are built to a high quality. This model isn’t a professional model but does follow the same materials with slightly thinner rubber components so it may struggle a little with rough use. This adds a touchscreen making it very easy to use. It has every function I have needed in the past 15 years and is very easy to select. The measurement can also be taken from the front, back or back of a plastic extension for difficult to reach areas. It is accurate to 2mm which is a little worse than the professional range but doesn’t make much difference for general house surveys.The Bluetooth works well and has a little learning curve but can save time if investing in the professional features of the app, otherwise some basic functionality is included free.My only negative is that you cannot buy the lithium rechargeable pack for this and have to carry batteries which isn’t ideal for my use as I have never needed to change batteries on a survey so there is a higher operating cost with this for heavy use.
