I'm very satisfied with these Gaiters. They stay in place on my legs and boots. They are good for more than just rain and snow protection. I do a lot of outdoor work, using a chainsaw, Bushwacker, or riding mower. I always wear those Black Diamond Leggings and they keep all of the TRASH out of my boots, plus, they help protect the lower half of my legs, from occasional flying debris.

Second pair after 10 years of using and abusing the first pair I owned. With the right pair of boots you can walk through foot deep water in these with no worries. These are the industry standard in my opinion. Also, my first pair wore through at the strap so I poked a few holes in the right spots and ran some decent cord through them to replace the straps. I've been using my old pair this way all summer as mud gaiters.

They fit my huge calves (or is it calfs?). Anyways, took them out snowshoeing last weekend. My only complaint is that the front hook did not want to stay on my laces. The bottom strap stayed in place well, no snow in boots. Look cute with leggings
