I have a 2014 15" MacBook Pro that needed a new battery. The original battery had over 900 cycles and would cause the laptop to randomly shut off even if it showed as "charged."In the box, you get the battery, an installation kit as well as an installation guide. The installation kit includes everything except the solution you need to remove the existing battery.The replacement process for me was relatively easy. You can use the included installation guide, but there are also plenty of guides available online. Once I replaced the battery, I followed the calibration process and I was good to go.The calibration process involves fully charging the battery and letting it sit plugged in for 2 hours, fully draining the battery and letting it sit for 5 hours and then fully charging it again.Once that was done, I starting testing out the battery. Its capacity is higher than stated, and higher than the OEM battery. One concern that I have here is that 9957mAh (the capacity of my replacement battery) at 11.1 volts means this battery has a capacity of 110Wh which is above what most airlines allow.The computer reports the manufacture date of this battery as March 30th, 2015. I really hope this isn't correct, because although brand new, a 10 year old battery isn't going to last long.Either way, my MacBook now lasts 5 to 6 hours under regular use which is fantastic. I haven't had any issues either. I've done 14 charging cycles so far and everything seems to be working as expected.Overall, I'm happy.

The fit is perfect, and the battery cells and overall build quality feel premium. It also comes with all the necessary tools and clear installation instructions, making the replacement process smooth and professional. Definitely worth it!

Umbau war problemlos, Werkzeug und alles nötige Incl. einer Anleitung ist dabei und passt sehr gut.Umbau war bei mir in 15 Min erledigt und der Akku scheint gut zu funktionieren. Wie lange der Akku hält, kann ich noch nicht sagen, aber nach erstem "Test" verlor der Akku in 30 min 3%. Also denke ich, dass der Akku ausreichend Kapazität hat, um mit dem Laptop eine gute Zeit ohne Ladegerät zu arbeiten. Von daher gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

I had the battery removed from the laptop so I didn't need the tools but they are nice and I will save them for the next job. The product was exactly as described. There wasn't any reviews as of yet when I purchased the battery. Since it was the only one to say that its a new battery with 2024 tech is why I decided to purchase this one after reading the issues with the others being of older manufacturing.So far so good. I will update this review in a month or so and let you know how it is working. :UPDATEthis is a good replacement battery. you won't be dissappointed. I don't have any specs for ya. I always have enough time to do what I need when on battery power. I don't fly much but I can have it on my desk all day to ssh to another computer and work on it using the terminal application on my linux desktop.
