Simply the worst pH meter that I have ever encountered. Nothing is simple. You cannot turn it off by hitting the power button alone. You need to hit two separate keys in order to turn it off. The directions are 28 pages long. That should tell you something. Calibration requires that you choose the 7.0 ph standard "first". If you do not good luck.

I bought the pH400S to monitor the pH and ORP of my pool. I like its ability to record data over extended periods, which allows me to measure chlorine demand periodically. I hope the device lasts. I'll update my review if it breaks down prematurely, but I'm optimistic it won't.
