Don't sand the paintwork for copper stripTry straight on paintwork first.Not to sure what to say about this at the moment, I had this exact same dab Arial in my old car from a different seller, and never had any issues, had to buy a new one from another seller, due to new car, and it was terrible so had to send back, now brought this one, all 3 have cami in same packaging and couldn't tell difference between them, as with first one installed this one and sanded paintwork behind Piller for copper strip, but before sticking I plugged into radio, and full signal, after installation and sticking copper strip to sanded paintwork - NO SIGNAL 😬. Watched a vid on YouTube and it stated some of these prefer the copper strip to be stuck straight onto paintwork, so I tryed this, and got signal straight away, some stations great full signal, some poor to okay, but it worked, so be careful before stripping paint back as this comes with no instructions or guidelines. Stick copper strip to paintwork first if not then it easily peels off, tho can rip easy as well if not careful and re-sticks, as for Ariel once stuck will not re-stick. So time will tell when I driving different areas as to how good this one is, tho some can be down to the area and station your listening too. Good luck to you all, watch YouTube first if your not 100% sure what your doing.UpdateSo like I stated about the copper strip being applied to the metal behind the window pilla, I had sanded the paint of, so it could be stuck to bare metal, like I did in my old car and it worked fine, but with this one no signal at all, so I sprayed the bare with metal paint, let it dry, re-stuck the copper strip and wow great full bar signal on every channel. So it seems some require stripping the paint work and some don't like it at all. So check first. And also good to do a re-scan of your stations.Now I can give 5 stars and 100% rating for a great cheap product, other than that it will be down to the area you live that reflects your signal quality.

Just what I needed. I had to leave behind the one that came with my DAB tuner on the windscreen of my old car. This has the same connector (MCX) as the old one and plugged straight in. It worked well even when I tested it just laying it on my car’s dashboard before I stuck it on the windscreen. Perfect.
