Das wirklich funktioniert aber leider ziehe ich ein Stern ab da die Metallring zu eng sind über die zündkerzenstecker zu bekommen

Ich habe mir die gekauft zum Schutz meiner Zündkabel. Musste allerdings dafür die Metallring im Inneren entfernen, damit es über die Zündkerzen Stecker passt.

Fitted a set of these to my TVR in place of the troublesome factory-fit extenders.Apart from a bit of a pong on first run, all seemed well. The car was running fine.Fast forward a couple of weeks, and the car developed a slight misfire. By the time I got home, it was running like a bag of nails.On inspection, several of these boots had melted, rendering the HT leads scrap (see pic)Not only wasted the money buying these, but I’m now in for a new £40 set of HT leads as well.The claimed 1200°F temperature resistance is absolute nonsense. At that temperature a manifold would be glowing red, something I’ve never seen on this car.An expensive mistake that only by sheer luck didn’t cause a breakdown at the side of the road.
