Item arrived very quickly but I was dreading having to take the entire bumper off to get the headlight unit out.I waited for a dry and warmish day and went and had a look. Long story short, I was able to get the new module installed without the dreaded bumber removal, I just had to take the wheel off.My main issue was that the contacts were corroded on the old module which meant that the contacts inside the headlight usint were also corroded.My initial attempts to use a cut down toothbrush did get the halo/angel eye lights back on, the 'Headlight unit position fault' error kept coming on at start and stop.My resolution to this was to use a cut down Costa points card wrapped in 120 grit sandpaper and gently push it in and out of the contacts inside the unit. This resolved the errors and no coding was required.Took me about an hour to do and these are the steps:1. Buy new module from amazon (Headlight TMS Driver Module 7258278/63117304906 / 7267045):2. Jack car up and remove wheel.3. Remove all the bolts in the wheel arch (8 of them) using 8mm socket.4. Gently peel back the arch cover and hook back on the disks.5. Undo the bolts on the TMS module using a T20 bit. Use mole grips on the T20 bit to undo the 2nd bolt further inside.6. Pull TMS module out and gently pop the ear over the frame. Feels like you can't do it but it will go without damage.7. Use a cut down toothbrush with a tiny amount of wd40 to clean the contacts inside the headlight unit.8. Using a cut down Costa card (to the width of the contact strip) wrapped in sandpaper push it in and out of the contacts about 20 times.9. Brush again to get rid of any gunk.10. Put in the new module and screw in just one T20 bolt.11. Test by pressing the start button without your foot on the brake.12. Check to see if a) the halo lights are working and b) if any errors appear.13. Power off the car and see if any errors come up.If you still get position failure warnings, remove the TMS unit and do some more cleaning. The condition of the old unit should give you an indication of how bad the damage/corrosion was. My first attempt got the halo lights working but I was still getting position fault warnings until I used the costa card wrapped in 120 grit sandpaper.Tools:• Jack• Wrench with 18mm socket and the security key to get the wheel off.• T20 bit• 8mm socket for the arch bolts• Costa card or eqivalent• 120 grit sandpaper• Scissors (for sandpaper)• Toothbrush (cut down)• Mole grips for getting at the more distant TMS bolt.• Impact driver to speed things up but optional obviously.Wasn't holding out much hope that this would work but I was pleasantly surprised. Saved me a tonne of money, having this done in a garage especially if they had pushed to replace the entire headlight unit...
