Amazing particle size distribution with minimal fines. The built is solid and the design is robust. Its has a very delicate workmanship, especially on the American Cherry version. The new polymer jar induces some static but nothing an RDT cannot fix.

As soon as you take it out of the box, you think; "Oh, that's really nice"First impressions count, but these can fade based on day to day use. I'm glad to say that it has, so far, retained it's charm - replacing my electric ceramic burr grinder for my daily brew.The grinder comes with 3 main parts:° A heavy steel with wood veneer grinding cylinder.° The grinding handle with a large wooden bulb.° A glass grounds collection cup that screws into the grinding cylinder.You get some other bits in the pack too; a dark glass bean storage jar, a branded rubber band thing?, a certificate, instruction manual and some nice stickers.All of the pieces feel high quality - and you'd be right in thinking that for the price, they bloody well ought to. You don't feel hard done by, however, as the quality is excellent. You paid a lot for something really nice and you have something really nice.Three things delight:1. The satisfying click as the grinding handle pops into place with a magnetic grip2. The ease of grinding, every turn feels good and you get tactile feedback of the beans passing through the burrs.3. The clever grind size dial that you push in slightly then click a desired number of turns to get the grind size you want. No unscrewing anything or dismantling anything.Two (minor) things could be better1. The lid on the extra bean storage jar feels cheap and a bit flimsy2. The see through plate that prevents beans popping out while grinding can be pushed off vertical slightly, but it self aligns again, it just feels a bit weird considering the quality of everything else.Overall, I'm really happy with this grinder.

Ho atteso qualche mese a recensire questo prodotto perché l'ho acquistato in preda all'entusiasmo, ma volevo recensirlo a mente lucida.Innanzitutto, la qualità della macinatura è eccellente: lo uso sia con una moka sia con macchine espresso e il risultato è una polvere soffice, incredibilmente regolare, paragonabile a macinini elettrici di fascia professionale.Rispetto a questi ultimi, ovviamente, è meno comodo, nel senso che ci vuole "olio di gomito", ma per macinare 16 grammi bastano meno di due minuti e lo sforzo è davvero minimo. Inoltre, rispetto a macinini elettrici, non trattiene praticamente polvere, quindi si possono misurare direttamente i grani e cambiare qualità di caffè senza rischiare residui fastidiosi. La regolazione, poi, è a scatti discreti, ma nel mio uso quotidiano non ho trovato questo un limite (esiste eventualmente un kit per dimezzare lo scarto delle macine ad ogni passo della regolazione), semmai la mancanza di una scala graduata fa sì che occorra ricordare ogni volta a quanto lo si è impostato.Esteticamente parlando, poi, è davvero ben rifinito: la macina ha una finitura superficiale che ricorda la componentistica di precisione aeronautica e il rivestimento in vero legno è davvero molto elegante, soprattutto in questa versione, così come il pomolo in legno massiccio. In questa fascia di prezzo, però, mi sarei aspettato meno plastica all'interno: questa è utilizzata nei supporti all'albero sui cui è montata la macina, nell'imbuto che convoglia i grani verso la macina e nella chiave di regolazione della macinatura. A proposito, l'albero è montato su cuscinetti a sfera.Solo il tempo dirà quanto è robusto nell'insieme, ma prendendolo in mano si ha l'impressione di aver acquistato uno strumento solido, contrariamente ad altri macinini di fascia bassa che sembrano giocattoli.In generale, non saprei dire se il prodotto vale la spesa: per me, il caffè è diventato un hobby e conto in futuro di acquistare una macchina a leva, desiderio che mi ha convinto all'acquisto di questo oggetto.

Diese Kaffeemühle ist der Hammer. Ich habe lange den Markt sondiert, viele Hersteller und Preise verglichen. Mit dieser Mühle bin ich sehr zufrieden. Der Mahlgrad ist stufenweise einstellbar und reicht bis hin zu „Esspresso“. Dann muss man zwar ordentlich „kurbeln“ und das Ganze bekommt einen sportlichen Charakter, danach hat man aber so feines Kaffepulver, das durch die Esspressomaschine gejagt, belohnt mit einer wunderbaren „Crema“. Die Mühle macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, ist zudem noch stylisch und das Mahwerk scheint für die Ewigkeit gemacht, so stabil ist es gefertigt. Da verspricht der Hersteller nicht zu viel. Das Mahlwerk ist das Herz einer jeden Kaffeemühle, glaubt man Testberichten und Rezensionen, sparen daran viele Hersteller. Das wird man dann allerdings teuer bezahlen, jedoch nicht bei dieser Mühle. Das Herz ist hochwertig und meisterlich gefertigt. Dazu ist das Gerät noch so kompakt, wir nehmen es gern in unserem Wohnmobil mit auf Reisen. Der Preis wirkt sicherlich abschreckend ist aber gut investiertes Geld. Ich bin von der Qualität dieser Kaffeemühle überzeugt und genieße wunderbar aromatischen Kaffee.
