I cant find this locally, I have one now, its worn out a bit at the tip, because I never leave home without it (4 years old). Perfect for the Sig P290, one little problem, it wears out the laser battery fast. This is the best fit for my piece and I LOVE IT! Bought two for backup, other than that it fits perfectly, especially with the shorter mag. I'm petite size, so shorter mags works best for me, a longer mag will work if your pant legs have extra room for accessibility. My trick for wear this is with knee high sock and ankle brace per leg, fold the sock over the brace top. Put it on the inside of your left ankle. Placing it before and above the ankle bone. Play with it and seeIf you can sew, get a piece of fabric same widths as the velcro strap and sewed it to the end of the strap, give it about .5-.75 inch tab. The fabric should be thick and not bulky. Light weight strapping material should work, made sure you sealed the ends with heat so it wont' fray (black color). Straight leg or boot cut pants work best. This will allow you to remove your piece easier (balance your weight with two mags on the inside of your right ankle). Your piece should not slip down, and your skin will thanks you. Use the other part of knee high sock and ankle brace, but only fold your sock over, after the mags are secured, this will help them from riding up. Secure them on the inside of ankles gives better coverage. Shoe size increase is highly recommend for comfort (half or whole size depends on your needs).

Needed a way to carry at work cuz im required to tuck in my shirt. Thought an ankle holster would do the job. My Kel-Tec P-11 fits ok, its a double stack compact 9mm but the holster feels a bit too big for it, it fits and is secure with the strap that comes over it, but feels like it would fit a larger frame pistol a bit better. I found out that if you have beefy calves you might have a little trouble riding it above your ankle (it is an ankle holster after all) It is a bit bulky and sticks out a bit, wearing loose or baggie pants would help but anything else would be a problem. At first I though that it might cut off the blood flow in my leg but I guess its just a new feeling cuz after wearing it for a few hours i forgot it was there. After a 12 hour shift it started to get sore cuz it shifted lower from where I had it before. If you could spend another 10 or 20 bucks I would look around a little more, but if your like me and just want a quick and simple cheap holster for those "just in case" moments, then this will work.

I originally bought this for my Kel Tec P32, but found the gun is a little small for it. So wore my Bersa Thunder .380 instead. I'm big (former football player in college), and older, so wear baggy pants. The legs are cuffed because the length (too lazy to get them sized) is a bit long for the waist size. So an ankle holster is easily covered. But with the Bersa, it is harder to keep concealed, especially climbing stairs or sitting in a soft chair (pant legs ride up). So I bought this holster's "brother" for the Kel Tec (see my review on that holster), and it works better with the smaller, thinner gun. The issue with this one is not the holster, but the gun and the magazine extension that allows it to better fit my moderately large hand. The holster is very good, can be fit snugly (hook'n'loop closure), and should be worn with a sock. Otherwise it irritates the skin on my lower shin, upper ankle. It does pull the sock down slightly, but when I tried the over-the-calf strap style, that strap irritated my calf (just me or common?). So this worked well as a holster, but the larger pistol was the slight problem to keep under the pantlegs. Very secure, but to get the gun, you pull up the retention strap, which (like all hook'n'loopers) gives off the "scccrrriiitttccchhh" sound, not exactly fully quiet. Still, no particular issues with a compact gun in this holster.

When one purchases holsters online one is always taking a chance. In this case the holster fails to conceal the weapon without having a significant bulge showing. I tried it under jeans and slacks and the holster is simply not designed well enough to hold the weapon snugly, it allowed the weapon to fall away from my leg and presented a significant bulge. For information, it holds a Taurus PT709 fine, just not concealed.
