I am no florist but love cut flowers. Arranging them is not my forte! These frogs help me with the placement of the stems, making the arrangement look a little more appealing. I sit them on top of the vase or just inside the rim of the vase if they fit! Well worth the price for a newbie arranger like me.

These flower frogs are amazing, and I wish I had them years ago. They come in packs of three with each one being a different size which will fit most vase sizes, along with 6 clips. As I had a large bunch of Birthday flowers, I used the largest frog in one of my bigger vases. It sat on the vase nicely and overhung a little. I used the clips to make sure it did not move around and then positioned my flowers in the holes. What a difference it made, no more trying to get the flowers to stay in the position you want them, they stay exactly where they are placed within their specific hole.I receive lots of bunches of flowers from my children and look forward to using these frogs in the future. At £8.99 they are an inexpensive way to get professional looking displays of flowers without the need for oasis.

I tried one of these the other day for the first time, and it worked so well on a small bunch of roses a friend had bought when they came to visit. For the first time in as long as I can remember, all the roses were able to fully open whereas before they would all clump together in the vase and remain more or less closed until they died. These "frogs" are the perfect alternative to the metal spiked version you put at the bottom of vases and are a lot less dangerous to handle! The only downside I see to these are that they are only meant for relatively narrow necked vases (a shame since I have a number of big, tall and square/oblong glass vases). The clips are also useless on thicker pottery and porcelain vases.

I got the Kenzan Hedgehog Ikebana Flower Holder to wrangle flowers in vases. As my flower arrangements get older, I keep the stems fresh cut and remove spent flowers. So sometimes I still have some great stems, just not a full vase. I’ve been thinking about getting a flower frog and then I saw these.First, I like the design that doesn’t look ugly on the vase. It does need something to anchor it to the vase so it doesn’t just move with the flowers. However the included clips aint it. They won’t stay on a vase of any thickness. These are meant for hair – they will pop right off the vase. Useless is an understatement for the clips. You need something with grip and something that’s not meant to close completely flat (as it could on hair, which these are intended for). That said, I still like them. I’ve got them on a vase right now with some solar flowers. Those clips are barely hanging on. Don’t touch it or they will literally pop off and fly a few feet. But, it is holding those stems in the middle of the vase and not to the side. So it works! And these are metal. So I imagine when I get some real flowers these will be awesome! At under $10 for 3, I gotta give it 4 stars. I have to subtract a star because of the worthless clips. You’ll have to figure out a better way to secure it to the vase. Perhaps clear tape.
