I’m a DIY enthusiast and, wherever possible, like to do my own projects around the home, whether it be painting and paper hanging, fitting kitchen cabinets or tiling my new conservatory floor.After seeing it being used by one of my favourite DIY handymen on YouTube, I decided my DIY tool kit would definitely benefit from a tile levelling system to help me lay the floor tiles in my new conservatory. Even though the kit came with a large number of wedges, I wanted to make sure I had enough for my flooring project, so I ordered these tile levelling wedges by Satisby… just in case!The large wedges fit into the holes of specially designed spacers to span the gap between tiles and keep the edges level with their neighbouring tiles. My tile levelling kit came with special pliers to help me make sure each wedge was fitted the same amount into the holes in the top of each spacer. When in position, the wedge firmly holds down the edges of both tiles, creating an overall even surface to your tiled area.When the adhesive has set, the wedges can be removed from the spacers before grouting and re-used for your next tiling project.I’ve been procrastinating over my conservatory floor project as, quite a while ago, in a fit of creativity, I bought some tiles which are meant to replicate long planks of white-washed floorboards so each tile is 24” (60cm) long x 4” (10cm) wide. As you can imagine, getting these tiles looking good over a large area was going to be a challenge.The wedges made the job of getting these large tiles matched and level across both their long and short edges; a job which would have been virtually impossible with just a mallet, wood-block and standard spacers as the tiles would have pivoted on their short axes on the adhesive bed, rising up at one end as I levelled the other, but the wedges stopped the edges popping up therefore, helping me achieve a very satisfying result… and much quicker than I’d imagined.My new conservatory floor looks (almost) professionally laid and certainly impresses all my guests! I can’t wait to try them out on my next tiling project.I’d definitely recommend using these tile levelling wedges for any tiling project.

Mit einer extra Tüte zur Aufbewahrung kommen die Keile. Das Material ist ausreichend stabil.

Die Fliesenkeile sind in Ordnung. Allerdings bin ich aufgrund der Produktfotos davon ausgegangen, dass wenigstens die Laschen für die Keile mitgeliefert werden. Fehlanzeige! In diesem Artikel sind leider nur die Keile enthalten. Eine entsprechende Zange sowie die Laschen für die Fliesenkeile müssen offenbar separat erworben werden. Das finde ich schade und bemängele die Fotos, die da ein bisschen irreführend sind.

La medida de 86 x 22 mm es perfecta para mis necesidades, y me ayudó a lograr un acabado nivelado en el suelo y las paredes, lo que es crucial para un trabajo bien hecho.Sin embargo, hay un par de cosas que me gustaría mencionar. Aunque la mayoría de las cuñas funcionan perfectamente, algunas pueden ser un poco difíciles de quitar una vez que el adhesivo se seca, lo que puede ser frustrante. Además, el paquete trae 200 piezas, lo cual es genial, pero si no tienes cuidado, puedes terminar perdiendo algunas durante el proceso.En resumen, las cuñas niveladoras Satisby son una herramienta muy útil para cualquier persona que esté trabajando con azulejos. A pesar de algunos pequeños inconvenientes, definitivamente las recomendaría a quienes buscan un sistema de nivelación efectivo y fácil de usar. ¡Mis proyectos de azulejos nunca habían sido tan sencillos!
